Chief Commercial Officer – Construction (Dubai)

About the role

The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will lead all commercial activities for a construction company in Dubai, shaping strategy, driving revenue growth and ensuring profitable project delivery. This senior executive role reports to the CEO and works closely with operations, finance and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement company‑wide commercial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities, strategic partnerships and expand market share across construction sectors.
• Lead bidding, tendering and proposal development, ensuring competitive pricing while protecting margins.
• Negotiate and manage contracts, claims, variation orders and dispute resolution.
• Monitor project margins, cash flow, forecasting and overall financial performance.
• Design procurement strategies, oversee supplier and subcontractor relationships, and drive cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Build and mentor high‑performing commercial teams and collaborate with cross‑functional departments.
• Present commercial performance updates to executive leadership and board members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related field.
• MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in construction, contracting or related commercial roles.
