Chief Commercial Officer

About the role

The Company, an established financial services organisation in Dubai, is seeking a seasoned Chief Commercial Officer to drive its commercial strategy, expand market presence and accelerate revenue growth across the UAE financial services and FX markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy focused on revenue growth, market expansion and long‑term profitability.
• Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities, market segments, distribution channels and strategic partnerships.
• Lead client acquisition, retention and revenue generation for institutional clients, professional investors and high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Set pricing, product positioning and go‑to‑market strategies to strengthen competitive advantage.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments to manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Dealing, Operations, Compliance, Finance, Marketing and Risk to ensure effective execution of commercial initiatives.
• Provide regular performance updates, forecasts and strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of progressive commercial leadership experience within financial services, preferably in FX or capital markets.
• Strong knowledge of UAE financial services regulations and foreign exchange market dynamics.
• Proven track record of delivering revenue growth, business expansion and successful commercial strategies.
• Established relationships with institutional clients, professional investors and high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Demonstrated ability to build, lead and develop high‑performing sales and business development teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills at CEO and Board level.
