Chief Digital, Data & AI Officer – Global Media & Communications

About the role

We are looking for a senior executive to lead digital, data and AI transformation for a global media and communications organization. The Chief Digital, Data & AI Officer will shape the technology strategy, modernise digital platforms and drive innovative AI solutions across broadcasting, OTT and content services.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute an enterprise‑wide technology strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead digital transformation programmes, including modernisation of websites, mobile apps, CMS, DAM, broadcasting and OTT platforms.
• Establish technology governance, enterprise architecture standards and AI operating models.
• Drive data strategy, analytics and AI initiatives to support executive decision‑making.
• Oversee technology delivery, managing portfolios, vendors, budgets and strategic partnerships.
• Promote adoption of cloud, automation and emerging technologies across the organisation.

Required profile

• 18+ years of technology leadership experience, including at least 8 years in a C‑level role (CTO, CIO, CDO or equivalent).
• Proven track record of leading enterprise‑scale digital transformation in media, broadcasting or global communications.
• Experience managing teams of 100+ technology professionals and multi‑million‑dollar budgets.
• Strong ability to work with executive committees and boards.
• Experience in global news, broadcasting or related industries.
