Chief of Assets

About the role

The Chief of Assets will lead the strategic direction and performance of SLICIT’s asset portfolio from the CEO Office in Dubai. Reporting directly to the CEO, this senior executive will shape investment strategy across equities, fixed income, commodities and alternative assets, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial data and market trends to identify opportunities and risks across multiple asset classes.
• Monitor global economic indicators, policy shifts and geopolitical events that could affect markets.
• Evaluate investor sentiment through surveys and market indicators.
• Conduct sector and industry analysis to assess impacts on asset valuations.
• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast performance under various scenarios.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and strategists to translate analysis into investment decisions and asset allocation recommendations.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Stay current with advancements in financial analysis methodologies and tools.

Required profile

• Advanced Master’s or postgraduate degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field; MBA, CFA or CAIA highly preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of senior leadership experience in asset management, investment banking or comparable environments.
• Background with a Big Four consulting firm or a similarly prestigious consultancy.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire a high‑performing portfolio management team.
• Extensive experience operating in C‑suite environments and communicating at board level.
