About the role
The Chief Quantity Surveyor leads cost planning, budgeting, and commercial management for construction projects, ensuring accurate estimates and effective cost control.
Key responsibilities
- Lead cost planning, estimation, and budget management for all project stages.
- Manage procurement, tender evaluations, and contract administration.
- Monitor project costs, certify payments, and assess variations and claims.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, industry standards, and client requirements.
- Provide commercial guidance to project teams and senior management.
- Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and financial audits for ongoing projects.
- Supervise and mentor the quantity surveying team.
Required profile
- Certified MRICS, MSCS, PMAQS, PRQS, or MMUP.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
