Chief Risk Officer / Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The organization is seeking a highly accomplished Chief Risk Officer (CRO) / Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic leadership across financial management, corporate governance and enterprise risk management. The successful candidate will oversee the organization's financial health, develop risk mitigation strategies, optimize financial performance and advise the CEO and Board of Directors on sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute corporate financial strategies, risk management frameworks and business plans.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, treasury and financial reporting.
• Oversee accounting, taxation, financial controls, internal and external audits and financial compliance.
• Monitor financial performance, profitability, liquidity, capital allocation and operating expenditures.
• Identify, assess and mitigate financial, operational, strategic and business risks, and strengthen ERM, internal controls and governance policies.
• Evaluate investments, business proposals, capital projects and strategic financial decisions, and build financial models and risk reports.
• Optimize financial resources, improve cost efficiency and advise the CEO, Board and senior management.
• Lead, mentor and develop finance, accounting, treasury and risk teams, and oversee audits and risk reviews.
• Monitor market developments, economic trends and emerging risks, and drive financial transformation and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is an advantage.
• Extensive senior-level experience in corporate finance, financial management, enterprise risk management or executive leadership.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, investment evaluation and internal control management.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CA, CFA or FRM are highly advantageous.
