Cinema Waiter – Guest Service

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Waiter to join the guest‑service team at our cinema venues. In this role you will ensure a high standard of food and beverage service, contributing to a memorable cinema experience for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Present menus, advise on selections and take accurate orders.
• Enter orders into the POS system and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and drinks promptly, set, clear and clean tables before and after service.
• Provide information on menu items, ingredients and promotions, and upsell where appropriate.
• Handle guest inquiries, feedback and complaints courteously.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area and adhere to hygiene, health and safety standards.
• Assist with stock rotation, replenishment and inventory tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in food & beverage or hospitality; cinema or restaurant experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, guest‑facing environment.
• Flexible availability for shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Compliance with hygiene, grooming and uniform standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Point‑of‑Sale (POS) system.
