City Manager

About the role

GuestReady is seeking a City Manager to launch and lead its operations in Abu Dhabi. You will own the city’s performance, grow the property portfolio, and ensure high satisfaction for owners and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Abu Dhabi P&L and key targets such as portfolio growth, occupancy, revenue, owner retention and guest reviews.
• Build and expand the portfolio by partnering with owners, developers and local stakeholders.
• Set up and manage day‑to‑day operations including cleaning, maintenance, check‑ins and quality standards.
• Ensure all properties have the correct holiday‑home permits and comply with Abu Dhabi regulations (DCT).
• Hire, lead and develop the local team, fostering a strong culture and clear goals.
• Collaborate with Guest Experience to deliver high‑quality stays and act swiftly on feedback.
• Track, report and act on city KPIs to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5–8 years’ experience in hospitality, short‑term rentals, property management or real estate, with 2–3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of owning results for a city, region or business unit.
• Strong operational background, capable of setting up and managing field operations and suppliers.
• Commercially minded with comfort handling P&L and financial metrics.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with owners, developers and partners.
• Hands‑on, organised, and able to work independently in a fast‑growing market.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
