Civil Engineer - Landscaping and Contracting Projects

About the role

Jadan Landscaping L.L.C., a landscaping and contracting company in Dubai, is hiring a Civil Engineer to join its growing team. The role oversees day-to-day site activities, coordinates with project stakeholders and ensures civil works are completed according to approved specifications, quality standards and project timelines. Candidates with UAE experience in civil construction and landscaping projects are encouraged to apply, and immediate joiners are preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate civil works for landscaping and contracting projects.
• Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Oversee hardscape works, paving, kerbs, concrete works, blockwork and other civil construction activities.
• Review construction drawings, technical details and project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams.
• Conduct regular site inspections while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Prepare site progress reports, work measurements and project documentation.
• Assist with quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, material estimation and cost control.
• Resolve technical issues efficiently to minimise project delays.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2-3 years of UAE experience in civil construction, landscaping or contracting projects.
• Good understanding of civil works, hardscape construction and site execution.
• Experience in site supervision, quantity measurements and material estimation.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills, able to work independently and collaborate with project teams.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is an added advantage.
