Civil Engineer – QA/QC

About the role

The company is seeking a Civil Engineer specialized in Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) to oversee the quality aspects of construction projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all site activities meet approved drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
• Conduct material inspections and approvals for cement, steel, aggregates, concrete, etc.
• Review and verify material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants, contractors, and site engineers.
• Raise, track, and close Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Perform site quality inspections, witness field tests (slump, cube, soil compaction), and prepare inspection reports.
• Monitor concrete pouring, curing procedures, and reinforcement compliance.
• Maintain quality records, checklists, and documentation, ensuring ISO compliance where applicable.
• Conduct internal audits, site quality meetings, and ensure equipment calibration.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and prepare regular quality reports.
• Assist in the hand‑over of completed works with proper documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in civil construction QA/QC.
• Strong knowledge of drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Familiarity with ISO quality standards and site safety requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage documentation.

Required skills
