Civil Foreman – Bridge Construction

About the role

The Civil Foreman will supervise and coordinate daily civil works for bridge construction, maintenance and rehabilitation projects in Abu Dhabi. You will lead site crews, ensure safety and quality, and manage resources to meet project targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily civil works related to bridge construction, maintenance and rehabilitation.
• Allocate manpower, tools and materials and monitor progress against drawings, method statements and work instructions.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and ensure compliance with quality and HSE standards.
• Conduct regular site checks, report progress and issues to the Site Engineer, and support inspection and rectification activities.
• Maintain daily records of manpower, work progress and site activities.

Required profile

• Technical qualification or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a relevant trade qualification.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Civil Foreman on bridge construction, maintenance or infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• Hands‑on experience with concrete works, structural repairs, reinforcement, formwork and waterproofing.
• Valid UAE Manual Driving License.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of bridge construction and maintenance activities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and method statements.
• Practical knowledge of civil construction tools, materials and techniques.
• Understanding of site safety requirements and safe working practices.
