Civil Foreman – Construction Site Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to lead day‑to‑day civil and structural activities on a busy construction site in Dubai. The role requires a hands‑on professional who can manage manpower, ensure quality, and uphold safety standards while coordinating with engineers and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil and structural construction tasks on site.
• Allocate and manage manpower to meet daily and weekly targets.
• Coordinate workers, chargehands, and subcontractor teams for optimal productivity.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and engineer instructions.
• Read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural drawings.
• Oversee reinforcement, shuttering/formwork, and concrete works.
• Supervise blockwork, plastering, screeding, waterproofing, tiling, and other finishing activities.
• Monitor excavation, backfilling, and related civil works.
• Check line, level, alignment, dimensions, and workmanship before inspections.
• Coordinate with MEP teams for openings, sleeves, and embedded items.
• Ensure availability of materials, tools, equipment, and manpower before starting tasks.
• Track material usage, minimize waste, and report productivity concerns.
• Identify and report site execution issues to the responsible engineer.
• Maintain housekeeping, enforce PPE and HSE requirements, and stop unsafe practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of construction experience in the Gulf, preferably with main contractors.
• Hands‑on experience as a Civil Foreman, Chargehand, or site supervisor on residential, commercial, or high‑rise projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil and structural construction activities and finishing works.
• Ability to read and understand civil, structural, and architectural drawings.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on quality, safety, and productivity.
