Civil Inspector

About the role

The Civil Inspector will ensure that all construction activities comply with contract documents, specifications, and health & safety standards. You will supervise daily site operations, coordinate with contractors, and support the Resident Engineer in delivering high‑quality infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review contract documents, detailed drawings, and specifications; ensure contractor compliance.
• Maintain daily records of contractor personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Conduct site supervision and inspections as directed by the Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE).
• Prepare daily reports covering work orders, material deliveries, and inspection programs.
• Implement quality control procedures and monitor QA/QC activities.
• Coordinate site measurements, surveying checks, and pipe alignment verifications.
• Assist in correspondence preparation, issue resolution, and start‑up, commissioning, and handover activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering (RTA approval preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience on similar infrastructure/roads projects, with at least 3 years in the UAE.
• Proven experience in contractor management, health & safety, and quality assurance.
