Civil Inspector - Villa Construction Project

About the role

KN International is seeking an experienced Civil Inspector for a villa construction project in Liwa, Western Region, Abu Dhabi. The role covers inspection and monitoring of civil, building and precast works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards and applicable regulations. Relevant UAE experience in villa or building construction, precast works, site inspection and quality control is required.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect villa and building construction works against approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Inspect civil and structural works, including foundations, concrete works, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing and finishing.
• Inspect precast elements and installation works for proper placement, alignment, connections and compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Monitor construction activities and verify the quality of materials, workmanship and construction methods.
• Review and respond to Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by contractors.
• Identify defects and non-conformities, prepare inspection reports and follow up on corrective actions.
• Review contractor submittals, method statements and risk assessments for civil, building and precast works.
• Maintain accurate records of site inspections, daily activities, progress and quality issues.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors and other stakeholders and attend progress meetings.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil inspection, including villa/building construction and precast works.
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards, specifications and regulations.

Required skills

• Civil and structural works, concrete construction, precast installation and building finishes.

• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
