Civil Technician

About the role

The Civil Technician will support the Building & Structure Maintenance team in delivering effective engineering and maintenance services for Dubai Metro infrastructure, including stations, depots, tunnels and related facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Building & Structure Maintenance Team Leader with preventive and corrective maintenance, minor modifications and structural repairs.
• Follow maintenance procedures, ensure compliance, and keep accurate records using a computerized maintenance management system.
• Support the implementation of complex systems or new projects alongside technical staff.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and perform shift or emergency duties as required.
• Carry out tasks directed by senior maintenance staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in building and structure maintenance, including structural stitching, grouting, scaffolding and pressure pointing.
• Vocational trade certificate or equivalent.
• Valid driving licence with good driving skills.
