Classroom Assistant – Immediate Start (UAE Nationals)

About the role

Aldar Education is looking for UAE National Classroom Assistants to join Abdulla Bin Otaiba Charter School in Abu Dhabi. The role starts immediately and supports the school’s mission to provide high‑quality learning experiences for primary‑age students.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and group support for pupils inside and outside the classroom to enable full participation in daily activities.
• Assist teachers in implementing individual education programmes and monitoring pupil progress.
• Support pupils with additional needs, including emotional, behavioural and social‑skill development.
• Maintain pupil records, prepare displays of student work, and handle photocopying and other classroom tasks.
• Promote health and safety, supervise pupils in various school locations, and check attendance.
• Collaborate with specialists such as speech and occupational therapists as required.

Required profile

• UAE National with at least a secondary school certificate or a bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum two years of experience working in UAE schools.

Required skills

• Proficiency in English (or the language used in the school curriculum).
• Understanding of health and safety procedures and school policies.
