Client Relations Manager - Insurance

About the role

The Client Relations Manager will build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key accounts for RMS Insurance Brokers in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on client retention, cross‑selling, and generating referrals while delivering exceptional service and ensuring long‑term satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their insurance needs.
• Provide suitable insurance solutions, explaining coverage, premiums, renewals, and claims procedures.
• Achieve a minimum 95% client retention target.
• Handle enquiries, complaints, policy servicing, renewals, modifications, and cancellations promptly.
• Conduct regular client reviews and identify opportunities for additional business.
• Coordinate with underwriting, claims, customer service, and other internal teams for smooth policy issuance.
• Monitor outstanding premium payments and ensure timely collection.
• Keep clients informed about product updates, regulatory changes, and renewal requirements.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on client trends, market opportunities, and competitive activity.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments for resolution.
• Ensure all activities comply with company policies, SOPs, and regulatory standards.
• Review operational processes to improve efficiency and strengthen controls.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of UAE experience in an insurance broker or insurance company.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
• Professional insurance qualifications (e.g., Cert CII, DIP CII, AIII) are an advantage.
• Strong exposure to Group Medical and Life Insurance; knowledge of Property & Casualty, Marine, and Motor Insurance is a plus.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
