Clinic Coordinator

About the role

M42 provides healthcare services across the full continuum of care, from primary care to advanced specialty treatments, with a global presence of more than 480 facilities in 27 countries. Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Hospital, a 200-bed JCI-accredited hospital in Abu Dhabi's Northern Emirates, is seeking a Clinic Coordinator to support the day-to-day running of the clinic. The role coordinates appointments, assists patients and their families and ensures smooth communication across departments, delivering an excellent patient experience while keeping clinic operations efficient in line with M42 policies and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate patient appointments, follow-ups, referrals and admissions to ensure a seamless patient journey.
• Manage clinic schedules and optimise appointment utilisation.
• Support patients and families with visit information, guidance and timely communication.
• Process referrals, pre-authorisations and related documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional patient service.
• Support clinic operations, including reporting, audits, inventory and procurement activities.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, infection control and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and foster a positive team environment.

Required profile

• Vocational or technical education.
• Three years of similar experience.
• Strong organisation skills and an understanding of medical terminology.
• Ability to communicate with patients in a culturally sensitive way.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
