Clinical Psychologist – Sakina Department

About the role

SEHA is seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join the Sakina department in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering independent psychological assessments and interventions, collaborating with senior clinicians, and contributing to high‑quality mental health services for individuals, families, and groups.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one clinical psychological consultations and interventions across a range of specialisations.
• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, formulate risk management plans, and develop psychosocial formulations for complex cases.
• Collaborate with senior clinical psychologists and multidisciplinary teams to offer consultative services and advise on care planning.
• Coordinate and prioritize caseload to address severe and complex psychological presentations.
• Promote and maintain quality and safety standards, including compliance with infection control and confidentiality policies.
• Document all interventions accurately and support clinical audit processes.
• Participate in training, education sessions, and departmental committees to enhance professional knowledge.
• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, quality assurance tests, and regulatory requirements such as licensure and certification.
