About the role

The Clinical Resource Nurse – Nursing Informatics is responsible for developing and maintaining a competency‑based continuing education program that supports nurses across all specialties. This role blends clinical expertise with informatics to improve practice, education, and patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assess educational needs and design targeted programs for nursing staff.
• Evaluate clinical education programs systematically to ensure alignment with departmental goals.
• Develop measurable performance criteria to assess nursing competence.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement and evaluate educational initiatives.
• Provide specialty‑specific orientation and bedside clinical consultations.
• Lead evidence‑based practice implementation and participate in research activities.
• Engage in health promotion activities within the organization and community.
• Manage information technology tools to access, transmit, and produce necessary information.
• Use program evaluation data to guide future educational directions.
• Maintain compliance with SSMC policies, regulatory requirements, and confidentiality standards.

Required profile
