Clinical Social Worker

About the role

A recruitment consultancy is seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinical Social Worker to support patients and families with psychosocial, emotional and environmental challenges, helping to improve their quality of life within a healthcare setting. The position is full time and based in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Provide case management for vulnerable patients and coordinate with government and charity agencies
• Support safeguarding of children, women, the elderly and vulnerable adults, reporting abuse or neglect as required
• Ensure compliance with UAE mental health laws, including Federal Law No. (10) of 2023
• Assist with caseload management and supervise junior staff when required
• Communicate within a multidisciplinary team and provide emotional support to patients and families
• Take part in wellbeing initiatives, professional development and research activities
• Be available to provide services during and outside official working hours when required

Required profile

• Master's degree in Social Work or a related field (mandatory)
• Arabic speaker (mandatory)
• Currently based in the UAE
• Minimum 3-5 years' clinical experience, preferably in healthcare or mental health
• Eligible for a DOH (Abu Dhabi) Clinical Social Worker license as per PQR requirements

• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
