About the role
The leading UAE bank is modernising its application landscape and seeks a Cloud & DevOps Engineer with banking delivery experience to drive migration, containerisation and automation initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Migrate on‑premises banking applications to AWS or Azure.
- Containerise applications using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code.
- Improve application resilience, monitoring and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate closely with application, security and infrastructure teams.
Required profile
- Hands‑on experience delivering production cloud or infrastructure projects in a bank or regulated financial institution.
- Practical delivery experience; certifications alone are insufficient.
Required skills
- AWS and/or Azure
- Terraform
- Docker
- Kubernetes / OpenShift
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
- Ansible
- Linux
