Club Agent – Guest Services & Cashiering

About the role

The Club Agent is the primary point of contact for Raffles Club guests, delivering a seamless and luxurious experience from arrival to departure. This role combines front‑desk duties, cash handling, foreign exchange, and personalized guest assistance within a 5‑star hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet Raffles Club guests warmly and register arrivals following established procedures.
• Perform check‑in, check‑out and room change transactions, ensuring accurate data entry in the hotel system.
• Maintain the cashier float, process personal and traveller checks, and handle currency exchange.
• Collaborate closely with butlers to fulfil guest requests and follow‑up on special requirements.
• Stay updated on accounting policies, promotional packages, frequent‑flyer and loyalty programmes.
• Address guest inquiries, complaints and requests, escalating to a supervisor when necessary.
• Prepare audit balances, generate reports and ensure orderly record‑keeping.
• Provide secretarial support such as faxing, copying, scanning and mailing for guests.
• Uphold high standards of appearance, behaviour and maintain a clean reception and lounge area.
• Assist with set‑up for breakfast, high‑tea and cocktail hour, monitoring stock levels.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of experience in a hospitality front‑office or club environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle cash and financial transactions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills and a service‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other hotel departments, especially butler service.
