CNC Machinist – Mazak Turning & Milling

About the role

Join Baker Hughes' Completions Team as a CNC Machinist and help deliver cutting‑edge energy solutions. You will operate Mazak CNC machines for turning and milling, ensuring high‑quality parts that maximize well performance.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain Mazak CNC turning and milling machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
• Program machines using Mazatrol or G‑code and adjust settings for optimal accuracy.
• Inspect finished parts with precision measuring instruments to verify quality.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and perform routine maintenance on equipment and work area.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical CNC certification preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience operating Mazak CNC machines for turning and milling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Mazatrol programming and/or G‑code.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with precision measuring tools.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and blueprints.
