Collections Specialist – B2B Credit Control

About the role

Comfi.ai is seeking a Collections Specialist to manage the full collections cycle for its high‑volume SME portfolio. You will assess risk on overdue accounts, enforce payment terms, negotiate resolutions, and protect the company’s cash‑flow health while collaborating with finance, risk, and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively manage a portfolio of overdue accounts, applying collection best practices to minimize risk exposure.
• Follow structured collections workflows, suggest improvements, and negotiate payment plans in line with company policy.
• Assess client payment behavior, flag high‑risk accounts early, and track payments in internal systems.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports on collections and credit‑risk performance.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and risk teams on escalations and dispute resolution.
• Maintain professional, customer‑focused communication throughout all interactions.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in B2B credit control, collections, or financial operations within fintech or financial services.
• Strong understanding of credit risk, credit products, and payment‑terms enforcement.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Fluency in English and Hindi; Arabic is a plus.
• Based in the UAE and comfortable in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment.
