About the role
The Luxury Collection is seeking a Commis 1 to support the All Day Dining operation at Ajman Saray. You will prepare and cook meals according to recipes, maintain quality standards, and assist the kitchen team during busy periods.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare special meals, cold foods, and substitute items following recipes and presentation standards.
- Regulate oven, broiler, grill and roaster temperatures and monitor food quality and quantity.
- Maintain food logs, ensure proper portioning, arrangement and garnish, and inform staff of menu specials or out‑of‑stock items.
- Assist with hiring, training, scheduling and coaching of kitchen staff as needed.
Required profile
- At least 3 years of relevant culinary experience.
- Technical or vocational training in food preparation.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb and perform repetitive kitchen tasks.
