Commis 2 – Beach House

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Commis 2 to join the Beach House outlet at Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort. In this entry‑level kitchen position you will support the preparation and service of food, ensuring high standards of quality, safety and presentation for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare mise‑en‑place and assist chefs in cooking across all food outlets.
• Follow food preparation and presentation guidelines to maintain consistent quality.
• Keep workstations clean, tidy and compliant with hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Apply food safety procedures, including proper storage, labeling, rotation and HACCP practices.
• Support banquet and event service as required.
• Participate in departmental training and adhere to checklists and cleaning schedules.
• Observe personal hygiene, grooming, fire safety and health‑and‑safety regulations.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Required skills

• HACCP awareness (advantageous).
• Ability to follow recipes and prepare sauces, ingredients and dishes accurately.
