Commis 2 – Kitchen Assistant at Bussola Restaurant

About the role

The Commis 2 will support the kitchen team at Bussola Restaurant in Dubai Marina by preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and maintaining a clean work environment. This full‑time, on‑site position offers the chance to develop culinary skills in a reputable hotel brand.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients – portion, chop, wash, peel, weigh, measure and mix according to recipes.
• Cook and plate food following quality, presentation and safety standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Monitor food quality, test doneness and ensure correct temperatures.
• Set up and break down work stations, clean and disinfect kitchen areas, tools and equipment.
• Maintain personal appearance, follow safety policies and report any hazards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 lb and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
