About the role

The Commis 3 supports the kitchen team at Casa Mia, preparing ingredients, cooking and ensuring food quality in line with recipes and standards.

Key responsibilities

Prepare, portion, chop, and store ingredients, fruits and vegetables.
Weigh, measure, mix and cook foods according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers, testing foods for proper doneness.
Monitor food quality, temperature and safety while preparing meals.
Set‑up and break down work stations, serve food in proper portions and receptacles.
Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tools, knives and equipment after each shift.

Required profile

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
At least one year of related kitchen or food‑preparation experience.

Required skills

Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
Physical capability to lift, carry and move items up to 25 lb and perform extended standing, bending and reaching tasks.
