Commis Chef – Bakery

About the role

Hyatt Centric Jumeirah Dubai is seeking a passionate Commis Chef – Bakery to join its dynamic pastry and bakery team. You will support the creation of high‑quality breads, pastries and desserts, ensuring every product meets the hotel’s standards of taste and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries and desserts following established recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery work‑area.
• Handle storage and proper rotation of ingredients and finished products.
• Assist with inventory control and stock rotation.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Support the Chef de Partie and other team members in daily bakery operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of baking techniques and food safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
