About the role
The Commis Chef supports the Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring high‑quality food preparation and presentation that meet brand standards while complying with health, safety and food hygiene regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare menu items according to recipes and brand guidelines.
- Identify and report any stock, MEP or equipment issues immediately.
- Maintain safe food‑handling practices and HACCP compliance.
- Keep kitchen and equipment clean and in good condition.
- Ensure proper storage, rotation of goods and FIFO procedures.
- Assist with venue timing coordination and post‑service clean‑down.
Required profile
- Certificate, course or diploma in Hospitality industry (e.g., PIC level 2).
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional quality service and a professional appearance.
