Commis Chef

About the role

Radisson Hotel Group is looking for a Commis Chef to join its team at Radisson Damac Hills Dubai. The Commis Chef supports the smooth running of the kitchen department, which delivers the guest dining experience across the whole hotel, and works within a team focused on guest satisfaction and comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Support the smooth running of the kitchen department and deliver the guest dining experience to the highest standard.
• Work as part of a team that responds positively and promptly to guest enquiries and problems.
• Take responsibility for assigned duties and complete them in a timely, professional way.
• Deliver on departmental plans and objectives, including hotel initiatives and targets.
• Collaborate with the immediate supervisor to control costs and inventory and to attain productivity and performance levels.
• Build effective working relationships and promote the company culture and values.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation, with due diligence, best practice and documentation for internal and external audits, and follow up as required.

Required profile

• Prior kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Hands-on approach with a can-do work style.
• Commitment to exceptional guest service and a passion for hospitality.
• Ability to find creative solutions and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Personal integrity and the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence.
