Commis II – Bakery

About the role

The Commis II supports the bakery team in maintaining high standards of food preparation and service across the hotel’s kitchens. You will work closely with chefs, assist in daily operations, and ensure hygiene, safety, and cost‑control measures are consistently applied.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in food stocktaking, portion control, and waste reduction to protect profitability.
• Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation procedures, and ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and cleaned properly.
• Support the chef and kitchen staff during restaurant and banquet service, adhering to fire, safety, and emergency protocols.
• Uphold professional grooming standards and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent; HACCP certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1 month experience in an F&B kitchen role.
• Excellent oral and written English; additional Italian is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure, solve problems proactively, and maintain a professional attitude with guests.
