About the role

The Shai Salon at Four Seasons Dubai is seeking a Commis II to support the culinary team in preparing menu items and specials, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating and preparing menu items and specials.
• Follow standard recipes and plate presentations to maintain quality.
• Report any accidents immediately, regardless of severity.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
• Ensure all equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and stored.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other culinary team members for efficient service.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of culinary or related work experience.
• Education from a cooking school, culinary institute, or equivalent experience.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Good communication and teamwork skills; proficiency in English.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
