Commis III – Kitchen Assistant

About the role

Rotana Hotels is looking for a motivated Commis III to join the culinary team at Beach Bay Hotel Al Mirfa. You will support daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of hygiene, quality, and efficiency while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I in daily kitchen operations.
• Prepare and maintain daily mise‑en‑place across main and satellite kitchens.
• Maintain a hygienic work area in line with hotel standards.
• Control food stock, monitor food costs, and minimize wastage.
• Follow instructions from superiors to complete assigned tasks.
• Coordinate with other sections to ensure consistency and quality.

Required profile

• Professional chef training certification.
• Previous experience in a reputable culinary establishment.
• Good command of English.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation and preservation.
