Commis – Kitchen Team Member at Children's Museum Café

About the role

The Commis will join the kitchen team at La Petite Treehouse, the in‑house café of OliOli® Children’s Museum in Dubai. Working closely with the Chef de Partie and Chef in Charge, you will help deliver high‑quality, nutritious dishes for families and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, ensuring taste, presentation and quality standards.
• Assist with inventory management, stock control and receiving deliveries, minimizing waste.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Collaborate with front‑of‑house staff to ensure timely and accurate service, addressing dietary requirements when needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Commis or similar role in a culinary environment.
• Ability to work six days a week, including weekends and public holidays, in a fast‑paced, child‑friendly setting.
• High energy, cheerful disposition and willingness to learn new systems and training.
