Commissioning Manager

About the role

The Commissioning Manager will lead the planning, coordination and execution of all commissioning, start‑up and handover activities for a major offshore project, ensuring a safe and efficient transition to ADNOC Offshore Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Commissioning Execution Plan (CEP) aligned with project milestones.
• Lead the overall commissioning strategy, establishing philosophy, procedures and schedules.
• Manage multidisciplinary commissioning teams, vendors and specialist contractors.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, construction, operations and HSE teams.
• Review engineering deliverables to embed commissioning requirements.
• Implement system and mechanical completion processes, including punch‑list tracking.
• Ensure progressive handover, Ready‑for‑Start‑Up (RFSU) and operational readiness criteria are met.
• Oversee turnover documentation and support performance testing before handover to operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 180 months (15 years) of commissioning experience on offshore oil & gas projects.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams and vendor management.
• Familiarity with ADNOC standards, HSE requirements and international best practices.
