Commissioning Superintendent Electrical - U&O

About the role

KBR is looking for a Commissioning Superintendent Electrical with onshore site experience in MEGA EPC projects, based in Abu Dhabi for a PMC project. The role covers commissioning activities in the sales gas and condensate area and works closely with licensors and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with licensors and vendors so that commissioning activities follow their guidance procedures.
• Review pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures, and commissioning manuals issued by the EPC contractor or vendors.
• Verify mechanical completion certificate requirements for systems and subsystems, and verify system readiness for MC and RFSU certificates.
• Provide advice and support to the Senior Commissioning Manager.
• Participate in commissioning meetings and troubleshooting analysis to resolve commissioning issues.
• Monitor and approve the close-out of punch lists in the area, ensuring completion and handover follows contractual documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is mandatory.
• At least 18 years of relevant experience in a commissioning or operation readiness position, with GCC region experience preferred.
• At least 5 years in a similar position in oil and gas or petrochemical projects, with preference for sour gas, hydrogen production and hydro-desulfurization projects.
