Project Engineer Interface Coordinator

About the role

Penspen, an energy services company offering engineering, project management, asset management and integrity services to the energy industry, is hiring a Project Engineer Interface Coordinator based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role manages discipline engineers, planning and scheduling engineers and coordinates between projects, site inputs, stakeholders and FEED/EPC engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage discipline engineers, planning and scheduling engineers and coordinate across projects, site inputs, stakeholders, FEED and EPC engineers
• Coordinate between the projects team and multidisciplinary inputs
• Oversee project execution and FEED contractor performance
• Oversee FEED contractor schedules, prepare weekly and monthly reports and carry out delay analysis
• Monitor budget and cost control, oversee timesheet submissions and leave requests, and support Team Leads

Required profile

• At least 10 years of experience in engineering, procurement, construction, contract administration, coordination and project support for major oil and gas/petrochemical onshore projects
• Bachelor's degree in engineering in the appropriate field
• PMC experience at a similar role is preferable; previous exposure to construction and commissioning is beneficial but not mandatory

Required skills

• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco desktop standards and procedures is beneficial
• Computer literacy with MS Office, especially Word and Excel
