Complex Security Officer

About the role

The Four Points by Sheraton Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai is looking for a Complex Security Officer. The role covers guarding the property, monitoring security systems, assisting guests and employees, handling incidents and completing loss prevention reports.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access
• Monitor closed-circuit television, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms and fire life safety system
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily physical hazard inspections
• Respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid and CPR as needed, and escort unwelcome persons off the property
• Defuse disturbances, call for outside assistance and notify the right people about accidents, attacks or other incidents
• Complete incident reports, loss prevention shift summaries and daily activity reports, and investigate incidents and gather evidence
• Maintain confidentiality of security and property reports and follow company policies and safety training
• Welcome guests, assist individuals with disabilities and speak clearly and professionally

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• No related work experience or supervisory experience required
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for long periods, move quickly, lift up to 50 pounds unaided and work in narrow or uneven spaces
• Some states may require additional licensing or registration
