Compliance Audit Lead

About the role

Bybit is seeking a Compliance Audit Lead to strengthen its regulatory compliance framework across multiple jurisdictions. The role will work closely with the Compliance Audit Director and the Internal Audit team to plan, execute, and report on risk‑based audits covering AML, CTF, and other regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct preliminary research and regulatory scanning to identify emerging risks and jurisdictional differences.
• Participate in walkthroughs with Compliance, AML, Legal, Operations, and other stakeholders to map processes, risks, and controls.
• Execute end‑to‑end compliance and AML/CTF audits, including control design assessment and operating effectiveness testing.
• Prepare high‑quality workpapers, draft audit issues, root‑cause analyses, and practical remediation recommendations.
• Evaluate Bybit’s compliance with regulators such as VARA, SCA, SFC, AUSTRAC, and EU frameworks.
• Produce clear audit reports, present findings to management, and track remediation progress.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, AML/CTF standards, and internal audit methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams (Compliance, Legal, Operations).
• Ability to analyze complex regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder presentations.

Required skills

• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (VARA, SCA, SFC, AUSTRAC, EU directives).
• Proficiency in audit planning, execution, and documentation.
• Experience with risk‑based audit testing and control assessment.
