Compliance Manager - Retail Compliance Unit

About the role

The Compliance Manager will lead the MGN Business Banking team and oversee the operations of the Retail Compliance squad within Business Banking Compliance. This role acts as the single point of contact for digitisation and automation initiatives, ensuring regulatory standards and internal policies are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the compliance team, providing mentorship and performance oversight.
• Conduct quality checks for key deliverables across all Retail Banking Group compliance squads.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives including automation, AI integration, and dashboard development.
• Ensure adherence to Consumer Protection Regulation requirements and incident reporting to CBUAE.
• Provide advisory on name screening matches and enhanced due diligence for high‑risk business accounts.
• Represent compliance in strategic cross‑functional meetings and projects.

Required profile

• Graduate with 7–10 years of banking experience, specifically KYC/EDD for business or corporate clients.
• Strong communication skills and knowledge of UAE regulations.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Experience coordinating and supporting compliance processes and system solutions.
