Compliance Officer – Dubai

About the role

Commitbiz is seeking a Compliance Officer to join its Dubai team. This entry‑level position offers the chance to develop expertise in AML/KYC, risk management and regulatory compliance within a dynamic business environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in conducting AML, KYC, and customer due diligence (CDD) procedures.
• Perform PEP, sanctions, adverse media, and UBO verification checks.
• Support enhanced due diligence (EDD) and compliance monitoring activities.
• Review compliance alerts and assist in identifying potential risks.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and regulatory documentation.
• Ensure adherence to UAE AML/CFT regulations and internal compliance policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
• 0–1 year of experience in AML, KYC, or compliance.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of UAE AML/CFT regulations, KYC, CDD, EDD and UBO verification.
• Experience with PEP and sanctions screening, adverse media checks and alert reviews.
• Familiarity with goAML, ICA, CAMS or ACAMS certification (advantage).
