Compliance Officer – MLRO

About the role

Reporting to the CEO, the Compliance Officer will establish and maintain an effective compliance program for Fasset in Dubai, focusing on AML/CTF controls, regulatory filings and policy oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage and continuously improve compliance policies, processes and monitoring frameworks.
• Coordinate regulatory filings, maintain relationships with regulators, banking partners and third‑party compliance vendors.
• Implement and oversee AML and CTF policies, ensure documentation is up‑to‑date and integrate requirements into new products.
• Prepare regular reports for the Board, support regulatory visits and audit inspections, and manage internal SARs and monitoring registers.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in risk, fraud, compliance, AML or regulatory functions, preferably within a regulated financial services business.
• Professional certification in compliance risk management and proven ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, global environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and proactive, diligent team attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with compliance applications and programmes.
• Expertise in AML, CTF, risk assessments, periodic reviews and enhanced due diligence.
