Computer Science Teacher – Start Jan 2027

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a Computer Science Teacher to join at the start of Term 2 (January 2027). The role involves delivering inspiring lessons, supporting inclusive learning, and contributing to the school community.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues to plan engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons and maintain positive relationships with parents and support staff.
• Deliver differentiated instruction, assess student progress, and use data to inform planning and interventions.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy and act as a positive role model for pupils.
• Participate in curriculum action groups, school events, and extracurricular activities, including running a weekly ECA.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teacher qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with students for whom English is not the first language.
• Passion for teaching the whole child and recent involvement in extracurricular activities.
• High level of professionalism, commitment to child welfare, and a clean enhanced DBS/police check.
