Computer Science Teacher (Term 2 start Jan 2027)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a passionate Computer Science/ICT Teacher to join its network of schools at the start of Term 2 in January 2027. The role involves delivering engaging, play‑based learning experiences that inspire curiosity and support the academic, social, and personal development of students in their formative years.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver curriculum‑aligned Computer Science lessons for a mixed‑ability classroom.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment using displays, resources and technology.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum support staff and specialists such as speech‑language and occupational therapists.
• Communicate regularly with parents to discuss student wellbeing and academic outcomes.
• Participate in school-wide initiatives that align with Abu Dhabi’s educational goals and Vision 2030.

Required profile

• Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, innovative teaching practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and families.
• Flexibility to work collaboratively and adapt lesson plans as needed.
• Understanding and appreciation of the cultural values of the region.

Required skills

• Clear knowledge of the Computer Science/ICT curriculum.
• Ability to organise classroom resources and create engaging learning displays.
• Experience assessing student work and using data to inform instruction.
