Concierge Supervisor

About the role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is looking for a Concierge Supervisor in Dubai. The role handles guest requests for special arrangements and services such as transportation, reservations and dry cleaning, and acts as a first point of contact for guest needs and complaints.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange guest requests and identify suitable providers, and follow up to ensure satisfaction
• Gather and share information about the property and local amenities, including special events and activities
• Answer, record and process guest calls, messages, requests and concerns, contacting the right departments to resolve them
• Review shift logs and daily memo books, prioritising outstanding requests from the previous day
• Monitor office inventory and order general office supplies
• Notify Loss Prevention/Security of guest reports of theft
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counselling, discipline and motivation of staff, and act as a role model for the Open Door Policy
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions, complete safety training and follow company policies
• Welcome guests, anticipate their needs, assist people with disabilities and use clear, professional language
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and be able to stand, sit or walk for long periods and lift up to 10 pounds

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• At least 1 year of related work experience
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience
