Conduct Risk Associate

About the role

This is a risk management position supporting the implementation of the Conduct Risk Management Framework across ADIB Group, with a focus on managing conduct risk management tools and related activities. It is open to UAE national fresh graduates and suits a proactive, confident person with good analytical skills, attention to detail and a strong appetite to learn.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to the Head of Conduct Risk Management and other team members on all matters.
• Support the business in managing conduct risk incidents and losses.
• Help identify and assess key conduct risk exposures in line with the Conduct Risk Management Framework and related standards.
• Support the management of issues and the timely implementation of actions.
• Support identification and assessment of conduct risk key risk indicators (KRIs).
• Support updating and monitoring conduct risk and control assessments using the Operational Risk Management platform (GRC system).
• Collate data for regular reports on conduct risk profiles, analysis and exposures for management reporting.
• Assist with ad hoc tasks assigned by the Head of Conduct Risk Management.
• Support implementation of Conduct Risk Management policies and procedures.
• Support the use of ORM tools such as RCSA, KRIs, incident management and issues and actions management.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business; no specific work experience required.
• Open to UAE national fresh graduates.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and business stakeholders.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Highly self-motivated and able to learn rapidly.

Required skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Computer skills, e.g. Microsoft Office Suite.
