Construction Estimator (Senior) – Dubai

About the role

The Estimator will work full‑time on‑site in Dubai, preparing accurate cost estimates for building construction projects and supporting the tendering process from start to award.

Key responsibilities

• Review drawings and specifications, perform detailed quantity take‑offs and prepare Bills of Quantities.
• Gather and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations, conduct cost comparisons and support value‑engineering studies.
• Prepare tender submissions, budget proposals and post‑tender negotiations, ensuring alignment with technical plans and timelines.
• Maintain cost databases, track market price trends and update internal estimating tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of estimation experience in civil construction within the UAE.
• Full‑time on‑site availability in Dubai and ability to manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with estimation and quantity‑take‑off software such as PlanSwift, CCS, BuildSoft, Candy and advanced Excel.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• In‑depth knowledge of UAE construction market rates, tendering procedures and contract types (lump‑sum, re‑measure).
