Construction Manager (E&I)

About the role

The Construction Manager (E&I) will lead multidisciplinary site construction activities for oil & gas projects, ensuring safe, on‑time delivery in line with ADNOC specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on‑site construction works including civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, telecom and commissioning.
• Develop execution strategies, work packs, resource plans and schedules; monitor progress and implement recovery plans.
• Ensure compliance with IFC drawings, method statements, risk assessments and ADNOC HSE Management System.
• Coordinate brownfield modifications, shutdowns, tie‑ins and live‑plant interfaces while minimizing operational impact.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with ADNOC, EPCM contractors, consultants, vendors and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of oil & gas construction experience, including at least 10 years on ADNOC on‑shore projects and extensive brownfield/shutdown experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EPC/EPCM project execution methodologies and ADNOC codes of practice.
• Experience in PTW, SIMOPS, PHSER, Constructability Review and HAZID processes.
• Knowledge of mechanical completion, commissioning management, construction planning and resource management.
• Strong contract administration, change management and risk assessment capabilities.
